At the end of the breathtaking Enseada beach, in 1976 the Hotel il Faro, which means in Italian "Lighthouse", was built in an authentic Mediterranean style by the Roman architect Luiggi Spada, to evoque its founders' homeland.
In 2006, when the administration changed hands, the new one took special care in preserving the original beach-flair style but also to make some restorations and modernizations to bring more comfort to the guests. The warm and personalized reception provided to the guests in five languages (Portuguese, English, German, Spanish and Italian) has turned this small hotel into a point of reference, especially for foreigners of the most diverse nationalities, who give great value to being able to communicate in their native language, making them feel more at home. The disposition to help and the sense of harmony in the different areas, which include even a chapel, can be perceived at the guest's very arrival. |
